Some landscapes resist the boundaries of a conventional frame. The panoramic format gives them the space they need to unfold, inviting the eye to travel freely through the image. In Mauritius and Rodrigues, it captures the continuity of a lagoon, the sweep of a coastline or the silhouette of a mountain within its surroundings. It reveals not only a place, but also the space around it, the space that gives it its character. This relationship with the landscape lies at the heart of my panoramic collection.
